The High Vista Property Owners Associations (POA), legally known as the High Vista Amenity Association Inc., has a mission to “create an affordable, sustainable and usable entity comprised of a coalition of willing residents who acquire and govern key High Vista assets with the goal of protecting, maintaining and enhancing our property values and the quality of life in our community”.
The POA assets include the large clubhouse which contains the Robinson Pub (downstairs) open for business most days and 3-4 evenings per week, as well as the Laurel Room (upstairs) used for large member events and outside events; also a swimming pool, tennis courts, community park and parking lots.
The POA sponsors many Member activities throughout the year including Yoga, Team Trivia, Tennis, Pickleball, Beach Bingo, Mah Jongg, Pull the Joker, Bridge, Book Club (Ladies), TGIF, Ladies Luncheons, Men’s Breakfasts, Summer Daycamps, and Kid’s Club. We also sponsor a number of events such as a New Year’s Eve Party, July 4th & Memorial Day Celebrations, Wine Tastings, Pool Parties, Craft Beer Tastings, Family Style Dinners, Game Nights and other holiday parties.

Please consider volunteering to run for one of the four vacancies on our Board in November.
Some Boards require a great deal of time and energy by members but that is not the case with our POA Board. We generally only have one Board meeting each month and maybe one additional committee meeting.
We are a united community of residents and there is rarely any conflict or disagreement.
In other words, it is a great way to serve your community.
If you, or someone you have talked with, are interested in serving our Association;
please contact any Board member for nominating information.
The next couple of months are busy ones within the POA with some exciting
and big events for members to enjoy.
In order for these to be successful, we need a little help from many members.
In fact the Fall Festival will not happen without it.
Please consider giving at least an hour or 2 of your time to one or more of the below events.
Sunday October 9th (1-4pm) Craft Show: Need 16 people/8 per 1 1/2 hour shifts to help with directing parking, carting attendees that need assistance, handing out brochures at registration tables- no heavy labor
Saturday October 22nd (10-2pm) Assemble the exterior of the Haunted House: Need 6 people, with brawn and drills- moderate to heavy labor
Sunday October 23rd (1-5pm) Assemble the interior of the Haunted House: Need 6 people, with brawn and drills- moderate to heavy labor Saturday
October 29th (10-12pm) set up stations for Fall Festival: Need 8 people- low to moderate labor
Saturday October 29th(1-4pm) Need 16 people-8 per 1 1/2 hour shift to work Fall Festival game stations or ticket table-need 2-3 face painters, photographer and a table trick magician- no to low labor
Saturday October 29th (4-5pm) 10 people to clean up the Fall Festival games and put in storage in the Club House- low to moderate labor
Sunday October 30th (1-5pm)Take down Haunted House: Need 10 people to disassemble and put back in storage under the pro shop- moderate to heavy labor

High Vista 2016 POA Crafts & Goods Show
When: Sunday October 9th, 2016 1pm-4pm
(Vendors can begin setting up as early as 9am)
Where: The High Vista Laurel Room and possibly Cordell room
Supplied by HV POA(while supplies last): Tables (small round; large round; 4ft-8ft rectangle)
while supplies last, 1st come 1st serve.
You are also welcome to bring your own tables or display items.
What you need: Table cloths/coverings; signage; change for cash sales
Types of Vendors: Crafters; Artists; Upcyclers; Antiquers; Re-salers; bakers; potters and more!
Types of tender accepted: This is up to you; cash, check or CC.
Cost for Vendors: POA members: No charge
Non-POA members: $10 fee per table or 8ft of space
We are also planning to hold a raffle with 4-5 giveaways, so please consider donating an item for this.
We will be partnering with local crafter, artists, bakers, upcyclers and more!
Please feel free to pass this information on to anyone you know that may be interested in being a vendor.
The pub will have lunch specials for vendors and attendees!

We are in need of more members who have an interest in serving in a volunteer capacity to:
•Oversee the Euchre group
•Lead several ongoing, cleaning, maintenance, painting and gargening projects
•Welcome new members
•Serve as Ambassadors
•Assist with special events parking, directions, etc.
We have ambitious plans to improve and our progress depends upon member participation.
